Utilities and co-operatives
Your members and your network, on one record.
Members call about an outage, a bill, or a connection, usually while your crews are already out on the system. Bavardio keeps the account, the network, the work orders, and the billing in one place, so the member on the phone hears what your crews already know.
When the lights go out
The call center should already know what the field knows.
An incident is one record. It can drive the message to affected members, and it is what your team and Mia read from when someone calls anyway.
- Turn an affected site or device into the accounts and services behind it.
- Notify affected members through the workflow configured for your operation.
- Give a caller reporting a known incident the status, not a troubleshooting script.
- Keep one status, so the next message and the next call read from the same place.
See it in a minute
Know about the outage before members call.
Bavardio Network ties every alarm to the accounts behind it, so your team knows who is affected and what to tell them before the phones start ringing.
The operating day
Every member on one connected record.
Outages get the attention, but most days are made of service requests, the crew who takes each one, the meter or connection it concerns, and the bill that follows. Those belong on the same record.
Member service
Account details, service history, and recent conversations in the workspace where calls are handled.
Outage and network context
Connected equipment, affected sites, and the members each one serves.
Crews and work orders
Assignments, schedules, and the job details a crew needs before they arrive.
Service connections
New connections, disconnections, and transfers as a tracked workflow rather than a chain of emails.
Billing and payments
Recurring services, invoices, payment activity, and account balances.
Obligations and evidence
Track what is due, organize supporting records, and prepare the reporting work.
Power and broadband together
If you run both, your team should not run two operations.
A growing number of co-operatives deliver electricity and internet over the same territory, to the same members, with the same crews. Bavardio was built for the broadband side first, so both services can share one view of the member rather than one team guessing at the other's work.
An example workflow
A member calls about a loss of service.
One path through the day, to show where the context comes from and where it goes next.
- 01The member is already on screen
The account, the service address, and recent history are there when the call connects.
- 02The system already knows
If the outage is mapped, the caller hears its status instead of being asked to check a breaker.
- 03The work is coordinated
A ticket or a crew assignment carries what has already been established, so nothing is re-gathered.
- 04Everyone stays informed
Affected members can be notified through your configured workflow, and anyone who calls reaches a team working from that same incident.
Where to start
Pick the part of the day you want back.
You do not have to move everything at once. Most operations start with whichever workload hurts most.
Call volume
What arrives by phone, and how much of it repeats.
Outage communication
How members find out, and how often they have to ask.
Crew coordination
What a crew knows before arriving, and what gets recorded after.
Billing questions
The account questions that reach a person, and why.
Common questions
Answers before the call.
Do we have to replace our existing systems?
No. Most operators start with one workflow and leave their current systems in place. Before we plan anything, we confirm which records and actions work with your setup.
Can Mia handle calls during an outage?
Yes, for defined service questions. When the incident is already known, a caller reporting it hears that it is being worked on, and nobody walks them through basic steps. Volume, routing, and escalation are agreed during setup.
How do you handle members who prefer to speak to a person?
Every workflow has a path to your team. Mia keeps the routine calls short and hands the rest over with what she has already gathered.
Does this cover regulatory reporting?
It covers the work around the filing. The compliance module tracks what is due, keeps the supporting records organized, and prepares the work. It does not generate or submit filings on your behalf.
We run both power and broadband. Does that work?
Yes. The same customer, network, field, and billing record can cover both services, so your team does not switch tools depending on which one the member is calling about.
Tell us about the service territory you run.
Bring a typical week: the calls, the outages, the crews, and the accounts behind them.
