Open role
Forward Deployed Engineer
Put Bavardio to work inside the operators who run on it.
Every operator runs a slightly different stack: a CRM, a monitoring system, radios and fiber from several vendors, a phone system, a field team. You will be the engineer who makes Bavardio fit that reality. You will connect their systems, build the reports their leadership asks for, and set up the agents their staff use on calls and in the NOC. You will spend real time with their teams, find the work that should not be manual, and ship the fix. The patterns you see across customers become the product everyone gets.
The work
What you will own.
- Bringing new operators live. Connecting their CRM, monitoring, network and phone systems, and proving the data is right before anyone relies on it.
- The reports operators take to their leadership and their lenders. Every number traceable to the records behind it.
- Agents and automations built for a customer's real workflows, from first conversation to running in production.
- Integrations with the systems service providers depend on: billing and CRM platforms, network monitoring, radio and fiber vendors, and telephony.
- The feedback loop. What you build for one operator, generalized so every operator benefits.
- Being the person an operator's NOC lead or support manager trusts to get it right.
About you
What we are looking for.
- You have shipped software that real businesses depend on, and you are at your best working directly with the people who use it.
- You are comfortable across the stack: Python services, SQL, APIs, and enough front end to make a report or a screen useful.
- You can read an unfamiliar system, figure out where the truth lives, and explain it plainly to someone non-technical.
- You care about data being correct, and you check rather than assume.
- Happy to travel to customer sites a few times a quarter.
Useful, not required
- You have worked at or with an internet service provider, telecom or utility.
- You have built integrations with network monitoring systems, radio vendors, or provisioning platforms.
- You have built with large language models and agents in production.
Why Bavardio
What working here is like.
Leadership within reach
You will work directly with the leadership team. Decisions take hours and nobody convenes a committee. What you build can be in production the same week.
Customer access
You will meet the operators using Bavardio at conferences, on-site visits, and weekly product calls. They will tell you plainly what works and what does not.
Remote, with a few trips a year
Work from wherever you work best. A few times a year we get together for in-person sprints and customer visits.
Health and time off
Medical, dental, and vision. Flexible PTO, and the cultural expectation that you actually take it.
Apply
Tell us what you have built.
Skip the cover letter. Tell us the substance: the most painful version of this problem you have personally shipped, and what you learned from it. We read every application and respond within five business days. If your background does not match every bullet above, apply anyway. We hire on the strength of what you have built.
Bavardio is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on the strength of your work and the way you think. Background, identity, and where you live do not factor in.
